Hi everyone, we’re in the home stretch now and couldn’t be more excited!

Reminder to those driving: there should be free parking in one of the church lots near the Van Dusen. Look for a sign. We will verify which lot ASAP.

Have your list of songs ready to sing? Hope so! It will be a blast. Don’t worry about staying on pitch—it’s all about the passion.

The invites shall soon arrive

After weeks of scrambling, we finally got our invitations in the mail and they should be arriving any day now! Feel free to send in your RSVP postcards so we can cheer your attendance, or weep because we will miss you.

We’re about eight weeks away, so things are starting to speed up. Can’t wait!

When asked, “What will YOU sing at the wedding?”, people have thrown out ideas like Frank Sinatra, The Eagles, Journey, Toto, Billie Holiday, Dolly Parton and Hank Williams Jr. This will be a reception to remember. I think my sister is getting her “Hotel California” chops on. Bring it!

Hello everyone! To be more green, we decided to forgo paper postcards and create a wedding site instead.

We are so excited! Our wedding is set for Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Van Dusen Carriage House and courtyard in Minneapolis, Minnesota (see the page, “Where Is the Van Dusen” at top for directions). Here are the details:

PRE-CEREMONY LIBATION: Arrive at 7:00 p.m to enjoy a glass of wine and to gather with friends and family.
CEREMONY: We will exchange vows at 7:30 p.m. The courtyard is small so please be prepared to stand. There will be limited seating for those in need.

RECEPTION: Join us in the Carriage House after the ceremony for a light assortment of appetizers and cupcakes. Then get ready for a night of dancing and singing.

QUEUE YOUR SONG: Yeah, baby! Karaoke brought us together and we want all of you to sing your hearts out at the reception. Our KJ has thousands of songs to choose from.

We will be sending out invitations soon, so look for them in the mail in early May. We cannot wait to see you!
